At the close in Athens, the fell 2.89% to hit a new all time low.
The best performers of the session on the were Alpha Bank SA (AT:), which rose 9.83% or 0.098 points to trade at 1.095 at the close. Meanwhile, Frigoglass (AT:) added 4.67% or 0.05 points to end at 1.12 and Reds (AT:) was up 4.00% or 0.012 points to 0.324 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Eurobank Ergasias SA (AT:), which fell 12.11% or 0.047 points to trade at 0.341 at the close. Halcor (AT:) declined 9.79% or 0.023 points to end at 0.212 and Fourlis Hld (AT:) was down 7.56% or 0.18 points to 2.20.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Athens Stock Exchange by 66 to 32 and 15 ended unchanged.

Gold for April delivery was down 0.41% or 4.90 to $1193.00 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in March rose 0.25% or 0.07 to hit $29.77 a barrel, while the April Brent oil contract fell 1.76% or 0.58 to trade at $32.30 a barrel.
EUR/USD was up 1.00% to 1.1304, while EUR/GBP rose 0.60% to 0.7802.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.90% at 95.89.
